Ten

This man just can't get enough on his bike. Just after I took this photo all those chairs crashed to the ground. They were so old and brittle they all fell to pieces. Amazing what they can get on these bikes though isn't it ?

Not exactly sure what this business is but maybe a milkman. They go around all the little farms and but whatever milk is not wanted by the family.

I love seeing this man riding his bike, he has a magnificence about him

Ananda riding along on his bike singing away

Another view of Tiru from the hill

The bullock cart drivers love having their photos taken, they take great pride in their tradition

Naked crazy guy again and the traffic just goes around these ones

You won't believe this story. There were a couple of small shack-type businesses here one day, bulldozed the next. There is a new "highway" being built and they just clear anything that gets in their way without warning. I know this because Mirabai assisted a young woman to find a new place to work from after they did this to her little building. They did not even have the opportunity to take out their goods and equipment. Perhaps this for the "only in India" file ?? Things like this are just so hard to believe for us aren't they ?

Baby Christmas from the farm. She is so funny and races around all over the place because even though she has the rope around her neck she is seldom tied up and never runs away

Amma milking the cows

This sadhu is very cool, he loves animals, I remember him from last time I was here when he had a small puppy

Taking his torpedo home to be fitted onto his submarine ? Who would know ?

Stethar on his bike, he was showing off till he fell off !

The loads these women carry on their heads are quite remarkable

Kisspoo's old grandfather, he's a really lovely old man

Stethar about to fall off his bike, fortunately not under the wheels of the bus

Stethar after his crash being attended to by his mother

Torpedo guy again, never ceases to amaze me and sometimes I sit for a few hours just watching what goes on

Kisspoo's grandfather again. Kisspoo had her baby this morning at Pondicherry hospital by the way

A view of the farm

Another view of Tiru from the hill

Sunset on the farm

Kisspoo's grandfather stands out on the road in the late afternoon every day

This young girls grandfather has picked her up from school, most children have to walk for miles
